We are so very proud to call Dr. Jordan and her team at Crossroads Vet Clinic, OUR Veterinary team. Both in the office and at the farm, they are professionally attentive and helping to keep our non-human farm family healthy and happy!

Today I had to take my cat of 16 years to be put to sleep. On Monday I called Crossroads to ask about their services. I already take my dog there so I wanted to see if they could help with Leia. The person who I spoke to seemed eager to help and shared pricing. I made an appointment for Friday although she mentioned several times that it could be done sooner. I took Leia in to the exam room once called back. I described the challenges she was having and quickly felt I needed to defend my decision. As I listed her symptoms, the vet explained what could be taking place and for each condition stated, “if she had been brought in sooner, it could have been treated successfully.” I was then asked if I wanted treatment provided for her or for her to be put to sleep. It is difficult enough to make this decision but then to be JUDGED and treated as I was, it made a difficult experience much harder than it needed to be. I shared with the vet that I knew Leia had not been the focus for our family and care had not been given. My dad is in hospice care along with many other challenges we had faced over the past few months. The vet attempted to change her approach but for me it was too late. The accusation and guilt I now feel are beyond words. I was also overcharged for the visit. EVERYTHING I was told over the phone was NOT what was experienced once in the office. I am absolutely shocked by the lack of care and respect I experienced today.
